As a consumer in the European Union, Directive 2011/83/EU grants you a 14-calendar-day withdrawal right on most digital purchases. Spanish consumer law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007) implements this same right.
Many digital sellers strip you of this right by making you tick a box that says "I waive my right of withdrawal because I want to download right now." We don't do that. HamOrbit voluntarily honors the full 14-day window with no waiver and no exceptions for downloading or activating the software.

We look up your purchase in Lemon Squeezy, issue the refund through their dashboard, and reply to your email confirming it's done. You'll also receive an automatic refund confirmation from Lemon Squeezy.
Timing depends on your bank and payment method. Lemon Squeezy never charges a fee to the customer for refunds.

Easy case. You're well within the 14-day window. Email us and we'll refund in full. No need to explain why.
Still within the 14-day window. The amount of usage doesn't matter — your legal right of withdrawal applies regardless. Full refund.
Past the standard 14-day window. We're not obligated to refund, but we may still help if there's a specific issue. Email us and explain — we evaluate case by case. For the next billing cycle, cancel auto-renewal (see below) so you're not charged again.
You have 14 days from the renewal charge date (not the original purchase date) to request a refund of the renewal. We'll refund 100% and also cancel future renewals for you.
Find the email from Lemon Squeezy with the subject "Your HamOrbit subscription" and click "Manage subscription" → "Cancel subscription". Your license stays active until the end of your paid period; you simply won't be charged again. If you can't find the email, email us and we cancel it for you.
This is rare but happens. Forward both receipt emails to us. We'll refund the duplicate charge — even if it's past the 14-day window. Duplicates are always 100% refundable as a matter of policy.
Email us a description of the bug. We attempt to fix in the next release (usually within 14 days). If we can't fix it and the feature was central to your purchase, we refund 100% even if past the standard window.
Same as any other purchase — 14 days, no questions. Use your original purchase email when contacting us. Optionally let us know the recipient's callsign too, so we mark the right license as inactive.
Likely a copy-paste issue (extra space) or you're using an older app version. Email hello@hamorbit.com first — we'll fix the activation. Refund only if we genuinely can't make it work for you.
You didn't pay anything, so there's nothing to refund. If you want to transfer the license to another callsign or email, write us — we'll handle the transfer manually.
Past the 14-day window. Cancel your auto-renewal so you won't be charged at the next yearly renewal. Your current license remains active until the end of your year. 73 and good DX wherever life takes you.
If we refund the purchase, the license deactivates. That's how the Lemon Squeezy refund mechanism works. You can keep using HamOrbit Free with all its features (logbook, RF tools, QSL cards, satellite passes, etc.) — that part stays free forever.
We approve essentially every good-faith refund request. Here are the rare situations where we say no:

That said, in practice almost every situation gets resolved with a single email. We genuinely don't want to argue about €19.99 or €49.99 — life's too short.
HamOrbit reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be published on hamorbit.com/refunds with the updated revision date. Purchases made before a change are governed by the policy that was in effect at the time of purchase. We never apply retroactive changes that disadvantage the customer.
Most refund requests are processed in under 6 hours during business days. We try to be human and fast about this.
